How it
Started

DIRT MONEY started the way most things do out here — someone had an idea that probably shouldn't work, and two blokes decided to film it anyway.

Jacob Turner is a qualified heavy diesel mechanic and broadacre farmer running 3,300 hectares in the WA Wheatbelt. Cam Nash is an earthmoving operator with more machine hours than most people have work hours. Together they've got the skills, the gear, and the complete absence of self-preservation required to do what they do on camera.

The first video dropped. 10 million views in a week. Zero paid promotion. The audience found it because it's real — real machines, real work, real consequences.

"We didn't
start a
channel.
We just
started
filming."

— Jacob Turner, Co-founder

John Deere
9750 STS.
9 Tonnes.

The hero build is a John Deere 9750 STS combine harvester — 9 tonnes of machine stripped back and rebuilt into something that should not move the way it does. Eight to ten episodes. Filmed at Sunnydale farm in the WA Wheatbelt.

The finale is a river crossing, filmed after the last episode drops. You'll understand why when you see it.
